The farm’s legacy berries were planted by Grandpa decades ago. They include 4 varieties of blueberries which kick off berry season around the second week of July, traditionally lasting five weeks through the second week of August. They are the largest and juiciest in the middle of the month. We have two large blueberry fields. The first one is located near our greenhouse behind the main barn, and a great space for parking. You will pass the greenhouse on your right, and head towards the white barn ahead. The berry patch will be on your left adorned with silver streamers to keep the birds away.
Our second berry patch is across the road from the farm and up above. The canoe planter will be on your right and a large white barn will be on your left. Up ahead you will hear a beautiful bubbling brook and see a hand-made wooden railing. Head up the meandering path and catch your breath, enjoy. The fields go all the way back behind the neighbor’s house, where they usually are the fullest. You may check our social media for picking conditions or call for a recording 518-854-3250.
We offer self-serve and you pick daily 7am-dark. You are invited to pick and purchase blueberries by volume (pints, quarts) through our farm stand where there is ample signage walking you through every step. On Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9am-1pm we offer our Berry Rewards, in which you may take home free blueberries if you share half of your bounty with us. Please note, this is only available when we can utilize the scales with a staff member onsite Wednesday and Saturday 9am-1pm.
