Pick Your Own Healthcare

Turns out, food IS Medicine

As a lifestyle medicine physician and a food for life instructor Hunter and Kelsey have been blown away by personally observing the power of food on our health. Our personal health, our family’s and our community’s.

Real food, rooted, is filled with real good things; healthy bacteria, antioxidants, FIBER. We have learned so much over the past decade and continue to learn more. We are honored to get to grow this ‘medicine’ for ourselves and our community, and to share and learn together with you.

Join us the third Saturday of the month from 3-4:30 for a tour of our Healthcare Fields and a discussion about all of the incredible things each crop can do in your body. Stay after, or come at 5pm for our FREE Community Plant-Powered Potluck. We feast together like kings and enjoy community, laughter, insight and fun.

Hunter is a physician at the new clinic in town (Salem) and Kelsey teaches Food for Life classes in their new state of the art Teaching Kitchen funded by the McClellan Foundation and Stewart’s Family Foundation. Take a look at the schedule where registered dieticians and Food as Medicine managers offer a host of drop ins, educational classes, and cooking demonstrations throughout the year.

Please enjoy some of our family’s favorite recipes to bring the antioxidant power (identified by all of the colors of plants) and fiber filled medicine into your homes. These taste incredible, leave you feeling full and clean, and power your body for the good work you have to do.
Win, win, win!
