This is a big year of transition. We are honored to walk in the footsteps of giants and step into a fourth generation of farm stewardship.
This year our Pick Your Own Healthcare Fields will open in July — perhaps a bit earlier. Watch social media or join our email newsletter for updates.
As the fourth generation steps into stewardship, Hunter and Kelsey are shifting the focus back to the land, debuting Taste + See Refuge @GardenworksFarm. Guests are welcomed to step into the farmland, amble the fields, and pick as they wish — a snack of cherry tomatoes, a dessert of juicy blueberries, a cup of tea, or a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Complementing the self-serve immersive experience are two farm stays — the Respite Cabin, a seasonal off-grid retreat, and the Beam & Bloom Suite, an all-season sanctuary with a clawfoot tub. Hunter and Kelsey also offer a free monthly Plant Powered Potluck, farm and field tours, workshops, the annual County Bounty Tour, treasured Gardenworks holiday traditions, and space for like-minded entrepreneurs on the farm. Meg and Rob will offer pop-up events throughout the season, and Meg continues blessing brides with her creativity and artistry in wedding flowers.
This means the retail store, greenhouse, café, and cheese will not be a regular part of the 2026 season — but the memories live on. We believe there will be special pop-up events of your favorite Gardenworks traditions throughout the season. And we hope you will walk beside us as we too start with some tiny seeds and grow together — with the farm, and with our family — in a sustainable way.

No tickets needed. The farm fields are open for picking 7am to dark, July through October. Watch our social media channels for what's ready to harvest, and check our calendar for special events — including Date Night in the Fields, our hosted golden hour experience among the flowers, and table rentals for your own gatherings in the fields.

We welcome you to a self-guided, immersive experience — wandering the fields and picking the best without bother or engagement. Ample signage guides you through each step so you feel settled and ready from the moment you arrive.
During peak blueberry season we will likely have someone available on Wednesdays and Saturdays for our signature Berry Rewards program — give half of what you pick to us, and keep your half free.
While no one will be staffing the farm during You Pick hours, you will surely see us out farming. We would love to meet you, say hello, and answer a growing question or two — though please know our time in the fields is limited and we won't be able to assist with payment or making change. Do say hello and let us know how you found us. It's a joy to share this beauty and bounty with our community.
We also hope you'll join us for our scheduled Special Events — monthly Plant Powered Potlucks, flower workshops, farm and field tours, the County Bounty Tour (September 12 & 13), and our heritage holiday traditions including a Christmas Concert, Wreath Making Workshop, and Photos with Santa.

Yes! As well as Venmo, cash, check, and Comfort Food Bucks. We’re also interested in skill/trade sharing (email us with inquiries).
At the farm stand we have a secured iPad for payment processing. If you are bringing cash, please plan to provide exact change, no one will be available to offer cash back. We have worked hard to price our items to make that as logical as possible.

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. You may also gather up to date information on instagram and facebook, or call the farm for updated farm and harvest information recorded on our answering machine: 518-854-3250. We aim to respond within two - three business days.

We do! We currently sell our produce, berries, flowers and tea to several establishments in Washington County and Southern, VT. If you would like to see us somewhere specifically, please reach out. We are excited to grow our wholesale accounts.

We do. As a family who knows the value of eating fresh from the ground — real food — we love making that more accessible to everyone. We ourselves rely on purchasing quality farm-fresh foods we don't grow, in bulk, from local growers. We understand the value on both sides of that exchange.
We offer special pricing for all three commodities:
Berries — 30lb bag or 6 pints
Produce — half bushels of peppers, bushels of tomato seconds, large bags of kale, green beans, and shishito peppers by the pound
Flowers — 200+ stems for special events and celebrations
Visit our Wholesale page for more details, or click Get in Touch to tell us what you're looking for and we'll get right back to you.
