County Bounty Tour

Washington County Bounty Tour — September 12 & 13

Save the Date

We look forward to joining several other beautiful destination spots to welcome you to Washington County to taste and see the bounty. Step into the farmland, amble the fields, and pick as you wish — whether it be a gorgeous bouquet of cut flowers, a snack of cherry tomatoes, a dessert of juicy raspberries, or a cup of tea, all still rooted. The land is beautiful and restorative, and it beckons you to unwind, breathe deep of the fresh valley air, and be awed by beauty.

Join us for any or all of the following, and check our farm stays- the beautiful Post & Beam Suite or our enchanting off-grid Respite Cabin in the woods.

Saturday
11am Flower field tour with Kelsey- learn all of the names of all of the flowers, which are best dried, which are best fresh, tips and tricks to dry the flowers that aren't classic dried, which ones last longer in vases, how to grow, etc.  Questions welcome!
12-5pm meal is served- cashew queso nachos (unbelievable, Texan approved, taste and see!) and fresh field harvested tortilla soup, free samples provided as well along with cashew cheese spreads, smoothies and sorbet (and recipes to take home). Fields are open for picking until dark,(1) large harvest and (2) intimate bistro tables surrounded by globe lights in the middle of the flower fields for a DIY party are available for rental through 8pm
2pm Healthcare Fields Tour with family practice doctor Hunter and Kelsey, food for life instructor.  Walk the rows to identify the vegetables growing and which vegetables are best for various chronic health conditions, or better yet, to prevent disease...food is medicine!  Happy to talk through growing tips and tricks and answer any questions
