Grow Well: A Farm & Health Tour w/ Hunter + Kelsey
The Black Creek Valley is breathtaking, the bounty it produces, and what that bounty does for our health, is something we never stop marveling about. We are honored to be the fourth generation stewarding this land, and we're looking forward to sharing it with you.
We hope you will join us in the fields. We'll move through the rows together, identify what's growing, taste what's ready, and talk about the real evidence-based research on what these plants can do for our bodies and minds. Hunter is a Family Practice and Lifestyle Medicine physician. Kelsey is a Food for Life instructor. We're both the growers — and we're looking forward to enjoying the beauty and bounty together with you, marveling at the science, and becoming empowered to eat! You will leave here with recipe ideas, tips and tricks for incorporating these healthful powerful foods into your and your family’s rhythm, and truly on fire about the power in your own hands to shape your health, your family’s health, our community’s health and even our nation. Eating is a radical act, or so they say, and we agree.
We'll also share the stories of this land and answer your growing questions too…and we hope to learn from you as well — bring your passions, your knowledge, your experience. That's what makes these walks worth taking.
$45 per person | Groups of 5–12 | Approximately 60–90 minutes | 3:30pm
Includes guided field walk, evidence-based health education, and a handpicked selection of fresh farm bounty to take home — whatever the fields are offering that day. Whatever is most abundant, most beautiful, most ready. It bring us joy for you to bring home to your own kitchen.
A minimum of 5 guests is needed to run each tour. If we don't reach that, we'll reach out one week before with a full refund or transfer option.
Interested in a private tour for your team, family, or group? Get in touch — we'd love to make it happen.
